INT. HOLDEN'S ROOM - EARLY MORNING, BEFORE DAWN

RYAN has been awaken by three-and-a-half-year-old HOLDEN, who has had an accident and had to be changed. Ryan is lying in Holden's little bed while the curly-haired boy plays on the floor next to him.

RYAN

You know, Holden, you could ask God to help you remember to go potty and poop in the toilet.

HOLDEN

I can?

RYAN

Yes, just say, "Dear Jesus, please help me remember to go potty and poop in the toilet."

(Long pause.)

Can you say that Holden?

HOLDEN

No.

RYAN

Why not?

HOLDEN

I don't need to say it. Because Jesus is in my heart.

(Pause)

And my heart is beeping.

(Pause)

And Jesus hugs me on the inside.

Fade to black.
