So I'm making brownies to bring to my 10-year high school reunion tomorrow (I know, I just gagged a little that I'm that old!) and thought I'd give Fix It Friday a go during the 35 minutes of bake-time! This was such a sweet little girl!! Click on over to IHeartFaces to see all the entries from people who actually know what they're doing!! :)
Boy, the word "silhouette" must be French in origin, because that is a difficult spelling! Anyways, when I saw this week's theme, I knew exactly what picture I wanted to enter. This is a shot that was a collaboration with my husband and myself--he obviously took the picture of me, but we set up the shots together and then I edited it in Photoshop. It was taken January 1, 2008, 22 days before our second son Turner was born. I have always loved this shot.
I am wife to Ryan, mother of two boys, and a makeup artist. I love Jesus and people. Our family is from Atlanta, and moved to Waco, TX to enroll in a discipleship training school at Antioch Community Church.
Full funding to come in for our June mission trip to Indonesia!
Holden is entered into a lottery to get into a Montessori Magnet School for Kindergarten next year. Pray he gets accepted!
This Week's Memory Verses
1 Peter 1:13-15 "So think clearly and exercise self-control. Look forward to the gracious salvation that will come to you when Jesus Christ is revealed to the world. So you must live as God's obedient children. Don't slip back into your old ways of living to satisfy your own desires. You didn't know any better then. But now you must be holy in everything you do, just as God who chose you is holy."
